Thanks pupster01 for the info. Unfortunately these days all my posting is done from the office. Well the bad news is all Web Based chats are filtered thru our server here at work. So my mail source if chat is here or thur e-mail.

Why not use something like IRC? Not quite as user friendly, but 0.2%* as likely to mess up your PC.

Midg I use mIRC and have been for years... I put a thread up with a link to use it but no one wanted to use it. As for I/M screwing your computer up you are 1 of the few that I have ever heard that from!
when i used to work in tech support for a certain PC suppiler, users installing AIM/Yahoo Messenger/ICQ always had problems, but AIM seemed like the more popular *breaker*.
Just personal experience, i've never touched em with a barge pole, i prefer IRC. Much more 1337
