Cockers Rule!
Hey my first marker was a cocker. Are you getting a blade frame on it? I HIGHLY recomend one (can't afford one myself though
)
Cleaning a cocker isn't rally a big deal (in my experience) just clean the outside, the bolt and the breach. the rest pretty much takes care of itself. I wouldn't fidle with anything more (less velocity adjustment etc). Oil the internals each time you play, just a couple of drops of apropriate (I have had sewing machine oil recommended to me by very reliable sources) oil in the ASA, attach the bottle and dry-fire a bit (where it isn't going to bother anyone!).
Make sure that the bolt is the correct way up when you play (hole in the bolt goes down) coz you'll look a real muppet when it won't fire.
Get hold of the tech-trix video, you can get it as a video CD from somebody on the list (can't remember who though...) it tells you just about all you nee to know about the cocker.
A couple of web-links you might find interesting/helpful:

If you have any specific queries then do ask, there are a lot of people on the board who know a lot about cockers.
But one more piece of adivice: if your cocker is working, then don't fidle with it!
Good luck
