Also to note, you liked your mates Mini, and someone commented on the Empire Axe, which is basically the upgraded Mini. Its a mini, but tweaked. Possibly get one for £200 - £250 ish, Mini for £120 - £160 ish.

A mask is probably the only thing that I would buy new. You can get some really good second hand guns and equipment that'll save you loads.also tanks are something to be aware of certain ones need testing and have a life span so check if you buy second hand.
