I have Dye Invisions that have never fogged but I am in a pickle as I suffer (although not terminally) with myopia. My spectacular spectacles offer relief but have the tendency to fog during play. Very frustrating, as I can look over the top of them and see through my perfectly clean lenses, but my vision - and therefore playing ability - is hence marred.
I currently randomly employ the following methods to fix this:
a) using anti-misting spray on my glasses,
b) not wearing my glasses at all,
or
b) lowering my body temperature by bathing in ice before a game and holding my breath from the words "Game on!".
None of these offer a proper solution as:
a) the glasses inevitably steam up (or go streaky),
b) I cannot see the whole field properly,
or
c) I pass out.
So do I adopt single use contact lenses for the sport? Or is there a chemical I can use on my glasses that will not streak or smear but will guarantee non-fogging performance?
Or do I take up free-diving to encourage the ability of holding my breath for extended periods of time?
Your thoughts, please.
