Advancements in paintball

What do feel is the single largest advancement in paintball over the last few years? This covers products, tactics, the image of paintball as a whole--whatever you feel was a step in right direction. New players such as myself will not have noticed a difference, while veterans will have a tough time deciding between everything they have seen.

Would have to say paintball being regarded as a sport.

The Millenium Series (the likes of Joy Masters, Toulouse, and Campaign spring to mind) for getting us into arenas and stadia such as Crystal Palace.

Or, depending on how many of the last few years we are counting;

The next generation playing side by side with thier elders, without them then there would have been no progression.

Image is the biggest leap so far

If that were true, you wouldn't see smokers, drinkers, and arguable Ledz playing paintball.

Biggest advancements?

Guns that work, paint that breaks on target, not on your gun.

That's all a brother needs...but it's only been a year or two since it became a reality.
