YOU LOT SUCK R.I.P SPOD K.I.A BY TEAMS WHO STEAL YOUNG TALENT
Dear Stu,

We have not stolen them, we have had a chat and we believe they are worth the investment to ensure we have a future generation of good ballers in this country.

Hopefully they will be playing for/with HPG for a long time. If not we can be proud of giving some young players a head start in our sport.

Shame you do not see it that way!

Wish you all the best!

Look Oli, yes im doing this out of frustration because i loved the team that i played for and it was all good, we knew you had always been after Chris and that we could handle, but after taking two of our players the rest of the team cant function.

We had somthing that set us apart from the rest of the crowd and that was the fact that we where all kids, thats pretty rare over here, i had high hopes for our team but after not even a complete season of ball temptations became to much for players and now they have dropped like flys.

Im not going to say i bear you no malice because i bloody do, you destoryed one thing that was important to me, the team was more than just a team we where friends all doing what we loved and we where having a great time.

The team was a rare oppertunity for me being 14 its hard to get your rents to let you go everywhere and take you everywhere i as lucky enough to have SPOD start up and train right down the bottom of my road litterally.

Sadly because of you my paintball days are probably now numbered.

This is not true and you know that!

I have not ended your "paintball" days. Nor has the fact that your team mates have joined our "family"!

Chirs got into paintball through me and we have been mates for a while. He saw the chance to advance very quickly. So it all started.

We had the talks about us supporting SPOD, so don't make it sound like I killed your team and ruined your chance of playing ball my son!

Its tough when things like this happen but eventually they work out for the best. Just ask Sam T or Tommy about making the move from playing with their mates to playing for a top team.

As long as people make the move for the right reason (long term improvement ) and not just for the quedos or free stuff then you cant hold any malice.

Chill out young dude, there will be plenty of time for you to play ball and im sure just because your not on the same team you wont be able to stay mates.

HPG with Oli are going to be a force to be reckoned with this year so do the gracious thing and wish them all luck.

Disco - I know at the moment you're feeling betrayed, but try to see a few other points of view. No-one forced the guys to leave Spod & go to HPG, HPG must have had something to offer the players that they couldn't get where they were.
And do you really begrudge them the opportunity to progress? If a well-sponsored team with good back-up and support came to you and said they could offer you cheap/free everything and the regular high level ball including the chance to travel Europe playing Millenniums would you really turn them down?
Campaign is a great breeding ground for new, young players and you just have to keep your ears and eyes open for the next batch of youngsters to come along for you to recruit.

And BTW though I know and am friends with Oli & many of the HPG crew I know nothing about this particular situation, it's just that this is what happens in paintball - always has and always will. And this is what happens in just about ALL sports.

ok ive exagerated it yes but i was not included is those talks its hard when your team brakes down, but you knew about what you where doing Oli and you knew you where going to destroy SPOD there was no doubt about it im not wineing becasue i didnt get asked to play for you, and im not going to plea to play with you, i want you to accept what you did and you know what you did and you knew that when you started talks with Chilly and Chris. Your saying this is all for the good of UK paintball, how is it? i dont see how destorying another squad can help, from what i know you had enough players to play, we had 7, yes 7 we cant afford to lose multiple players and thats what happened we lost two then more follow resistance was futile to a team such as yourself's you will argue that you saw talent and wanted to pick them up, but really it could of been better to see what happened with SPOD, yeah i have a biased view on things but i thought we had potential, i know im going to be out gunned by everyone on these forums and im going to be flamed till i die but i am vocing my opinion because im not scared but i am frustrated.
