Robbo,
i fully understand what you are saying but what i am looking at is a growing problem that is happening in the Nxl ... unhappy players. i have read the debates on this forum and have agreed and disagreed with a lot of people with varying opinions. what i see is a potential collapsed (imo) of players that start to demand certain rights and refrain from playing to get them. it is like striking that has been stated already on this thread but having the whole collective group sticking together. that is a huge gap to fill (which in theory it could be) and would leave a negative swing to the whole NXL bubble. how do you tell someone like Dick Clark that you have only the best of the best and then lose them all. do you just shrug the shoulders and claim that the next bunch is even better?
i am starting to feel like tyger! that can't be good!

Hey Soul, lemme explain a couple of paintball fundamentals, player's unhappiness is inextricably linked to getting what they want or not, as the case may be.
If they feel there are riches just around the NXL corner, then some players might moan and bitch it ain’t coming quick enough, and some might even leave but as soon as the income streams are in place, little smiles will erupt all across their pretty professional faces.
There will be no initial collapse i.e. before the NXL's televisation because compromise and bluff will rule the day in the run up to the bank opening its doors.
As for Dick Clark caring about having the best, my god, he couldn't give two sh!ts, the man just cares about making money off of another TV production idea, which believe me, is his only concern.
There will be no wholesale walk out; just because a few players are pissed off doesn't mean there is going to be a universal exodus, far from it.
If some leave, then so be it, replacements are everywhere and none of this will compromise what Dick Clark is trying to do with the NXL.
