hiya mate.

<---- as you can tell i wear specs, and use a IZE (pretty much same as a flex 7).

1st tip. At boots opticians they stock some stuff called "Sparkle". Its blue gunk in a small contanter, costs about a tenner. You rub a little onto you specs and it gets rid of fogging. Its amazing stuff, i suggest everyone with 'gebs gets some.

2nd tip : Vortex fans are very good in conjuction with the "Sparkle", and it rare i ever fog now.

(my 1st helpful post?) :D

huh ?
I use Rain-X Anti Fog

I find that my glasses dont fog up unless I have gotten hot from running a lot and then stop at a bunker that shields well from the wind.

So I use Rain-X Anti Fog on my glasses, they have plastic lenses, so it is not really "advised" but I do it anyway and have not seen any change in the lenses...they should get a little yellow discolouration if the antifog damaged them.

The Anti Fog comes in black bottles and I buy it at a local gas station.

But it needs reapplying every hour or so to really keep it working, I try to spread it thin, too thick and it works to a lesser degree. The Anti-Fog shows a little bluish tint and an oil-like rainbow colour effect when you hold the glasses at an angle against a light. If it is more visible it's too thick on.

I have played a long day in rain without a fan...

One more thing....the glasses need to be really clean cause specks and fingerprints accumulate the dampness and help them condense.

I've had the same problem with glasses and a variety of masks - I once picked up this great bottle of stuff at a Chemist's when I was 16 which worked wonders, but it doesn't seem to be around anymore. :(

At the moment I use the JT Majik stuff, which is pretty good, but needs regular re-applications. I keep meaning to get myself some contact lenses, but never get organized in time. The only other thing to do is to take the hot air/moisture out of the mask with a fan (I've seen an article somewhere - Warpig I think- where someone made a goggle fan out of a battery, switch and PC CPU fan for about a tenner!).

I also recommend the vortex fan but also the best anti-fog stuff can be bought from nearly any motorcycle shop go in and ask if they sell bob heath it is a little can with a red top and is the best stuff.
