it depends on how much money you have to spend and what you want to do mate

if you are going into rec ball then either we do, but spyders tend to have more upgrades and add-ons available

if you want to look at going into tournies they you may want to look at a high spec marker

check out the classifieds....see if anything takes your fancy....come back here and ask what people think

between the 2 you have usggested i would go for a spyder

buy a second hand cocker if i was you. they are the most upgradable markers out there, and they are super reliable and accurate. You can get an electro frame for them easily, and they are better value and last longer than spyders etc...

You can pick one up for around £200 in the UK in the classifieds here, or elsewhere.:)

He's only got £200 at the most and needs to get all the other equipment so his best bet is to go for a package deal.

Alright G

i would suggest an electro spyder with a revvy and some decent goggs, the electro spyders are pretty fast ( i can get 13 bps on an e-99).

Tippy!

ok mate, go with the Tippy, with your money, you can get the powerpack, and get a hopper, 9 oz. co2, marker, squeege, and some hex keys to open the marker. Tippmann's are 100 times more reliable than a Spyder. Pleeese PM me, i have a Tippy 98 Custom with Response Trigger, and Evolution II Hopper, and a 16'' Empire Twister Barrel . its the most reliable marker you can ever rely on, I agree, Tippmann's dont look very cool, but they will not shi* out on ya when you need firepower. Please Pm me, so i can let ya know more about the gun, feel free to ask me more questions. Lemme know, c ya:D

tippman all the way. No offene to the spyder but if you are a true noob ur gonan wanna play with low maintenmance and basically ahve a great gun that will be consistent for years and years. But as has been said very little upgrades and electronics (what electronics) but then if your looking at upgradign a spyder u may as well start off with a second hand cocker or impy (shocker 4x4)
