i was looking around and it seems like i would get the best deal if i went with a nasty impulse

Get the Vision system...the only people who don't really need an eye are backmen who don't move much who've trained their trigger fingers to a certain rhythm and have limited their upper BPS range. If you want to shoot insanely fast, or reduce your ball chops to almost zero, get the Vision.

you can definitely get the rat with vision, the same way you can get any new Impulse with vision installed. The cost is usually in the range of $125 to $150 more. You might consider getting the marker without vision and then buying the WAS (Wicked Air Sports) board for the Imp when it comes out. That board has an eye as well as certain other features that are supposed to make it better than the stock vision board. Cost of the WAS board will be $150.
thanks ive been waiting to see when the was board is coming out.. they announced it a while ago but haven't released it yet
They've produced trial versions of the WAS Board and the Rat Factory team has used them. They give the board glowing reviews. In any event, the latest I've heard is that the board should be out in late July or early August.

The WAS board comes stock on the AKA Viking. As stock its one of the quickest, most efficient and consistant markers out there the only upgrades I'd reccomend would be the Eyes from WAS and a razor blade trigger!
