or just 'a great new look'.
Today has so far been excellent. Got up at the lazy hour of 12:30 and decided that some fresh air would be decidedly good for me.
So, armed with some loose change, a gift card for HMV and a sense of adventure i went outside. And damn, was it cold. Made my way into town via a quick pitstop at uni and made my way to HMV where i lavished gifts upon myself with the gift card. I then made my way into WHSmith to have a perusal at my leisure.
Now, ill admit it, I dont have a PGI subscription. I know, i know im a bad paintballer etc etc. I dont even buy it regularly, for while paintball is my life, im not too concerned about knowing everything or being able to talk to paintballers in general about stuff.
However my eyes came across PGI and seeing the words 'a great new look' this obviously caught my attention. I decided i must test this new 'look' out and see how it fares, and i also needed something a little more intellectually stimulating than that of razzle and 40+. From what i remember the old PGI was quite hard on the eyes to read and was mostly black and white with little colour apart from the photo's.
Well, i must say, im pleasantly surprised. This new look is far easier on the eye. A mixture of simple graphics and a cleaner font (i think its different) have improved it over its last incarnation ten fold. It also seems that they've gone for less columns per page which is good. They also seem to have injected some humour into the pictures. It's subtle, but its there![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I was also shocked to see Mr Miller is now the editor for the magazine. Good job bud. I think its going in the right direction.
Continue the good work PGI towers!
(got there in the end didnt i?
