was up there working this weekend and i have to say the fields are looking wicked, gonna be another excellent CP cup.

the gras looks fine 
But i always loved the stadium ....it was a great venue.
But i think the guys will pull up a top event like every year.

i will hopefully have loads more pics tonight.
The grass is totally awesome, there's two rough bits where they took out some goal posts but other than that it's the best grass you've ever played on.
The stadium is being setup right now, the netting and the EXL field are in place, and the Open X-ball field will be up by lunch time.
Overall i think players will find this a much more enjoyable tournament to play than Crystal Palace last year, for 2 reasons.
First the players staging area is all indiviual tents, (like toulouse) and it is in the middle of the 7 man fields, so you won't have to walk miles to your field. The trade show is 35 meters from the players area, and we have all the usual traders there this year.
2nd, when you head over to the main stadium for the bar and X-ball, you can sit in the seating, and actually watch the game because the stands are only a few meters from the sidelines, not way across the track like Crystal Palace. Esher rugby club's stadium is pretty good too, it seats several thousand, it's got fantastic lighting, (not that we intend to use it though) great grass, and a fully stocked bar!
