54bps - New World Record ?

Its Tru!

Try slowing down the movie frame by frame you will see the back block moving backwards and forwards.
Even though the video is only running at 23fps???

Naa you would never get paint through that.

Also are they allowed to write that stuff in the description

"the Karnivor isn't a "Blowback" design like all other markers on the market"

What is that all about??

Cockers.... Old news

I am not saying it isn't moving, I am saying it isn't completing cycles. If a gun goes through 54 half cycles in one second, that to me does not even equal 27 cycles. That equals no cycles.

I read (on some possibly equally reliable forum) that the Eclipse cocking solenoid works better on the back stroke than the forward stroke. If true, this suggests to me that a rapid firing gun that was trying to cycle fast enough to starve the front pneumatics would look kinda like a back block rattling at the back of it's range of motion, especially if the mainspring were gone or clipped really short.

54 cps is less than 20 milliseconds of cycle time- that doesn't leave much time for anything to happen, including ram travel, hammer movement, or even air flowing through the gun.

Also, the title 54 bps means BALLS per second. Misleading.

Also, it may be that the frame rate of your recording device was perfectly in time with the back block, or it could be that the back block was sorta stumbling around the fully back point. When you watch a helicopter rotor being filmed, you see where the rotor blurs by on the frames, but those blurs seem to show a ghost of the blades slowly rotating through the range of movement. The blur we see in the video remains in one very small range, at the back of the travel for the back block.
Shennenigans.
I'm not disagreeing with you that it might not be fully cycling...i don't have a clue about recharge times etc.

You're helicopter blades idea isn't aplicable to the back block though. The blades of a chopper rotate at a constant rate in a circular path wheras the back block reaches an apex and changes direction. Meaning for a split second (or less) the back block will be stationary. Could be why the block appears at the back...although the same should true an the front of its cycle.

pinki!! keep the PBN spirit alive!! :)

i too call pics or shens :)

also, heard from a rather reliable source that above 20bps cockers can't get anough air down the barrel to fire a shot out at proper speed. dunno if it's fact but the guy knows his ****.

also why is everyone so concerned with making guns faster these days? if you can't do it at 15 your doing it wrong i say :)

Beaker- keep that Ichael-may Oore-may stuff on the down-low: I live in a red state. Somebody could get kicked outta the country club.

Edd- I see what you are saying about the back block oscillation. But as you say, there should be some blur at the front of the travel range and maybe a tiny bit in between.

there are settings kicking about pbnation that will alow silly rates like that but ... they are just for messing around and will never get paint through it got my dye reflex e2 doing mid 40's with them,

dont ask just put these settings in and have fun
(This will only work of E2s programmed with vr. 0.24, so im told)

Sear On 4.0
C Delay 1.0
C On X
C Off X
Pull 2 (if you lower the pull to 1 it will be more of a ramp not full auto)
Release 0 (This is very important only the vr. 0.24 boards can go below 1)
TT Band 10%
TT Tol 100%

X=your value (the lower you go the more cps you will get.)
