if i have a 5000psi preset system and the field i play at only fills at 3000psi does that mean itll only fill to 3000psi? or can i not fill it at all?

it's not a problem to fill your 5,000 tank to just 3,000. However, it might be a problem to fill your 3,000 tank to 5,000.

I hope it aint a DOT bottle, as I note you have a similar thread on here asking which bottles you can use in the UK.

I think most of the new bottles can take a fill up to 7,000 psi or even higher. Of course the burst disk is gonna blow like a well hung porn star if you do that.

I mean, 4500 is high enough next to your head isnt it?
Even if it was only the burst disc that went, thast 5tonnes of preassure coming out of there, probably more due to the size of the hole, I dare say that could damage you just a teensy bit!
