Splatmatic 'toy' paintball:

I had one of these, it was bought as a joke for me one christmas years ago.

Great fun to be fair but the paint either didn't break when you shot it or broke in the tube rendering the rest a ball of sh*te. There was no middle ground!

I'm using blowgun ammo in my 3357, needs to hit something hard to break but any of the proper .50 is too fragile to make it out of the gun in one piece.

I played 50 cal at a site for a stag do. ****test thing, ever. Granted I was hungover, but you couldn't see the paint so you had no idea where it was going half the time, and the little buggers wouldn't break worth a damn. Pretty glad that didn't take off.

Well......now that we have 50 cal Marballizer, I think the paint quality is much better.

Do you think that 50 cal could attract a new "wave" of site customers, based on the fact that it doesn't leave welts?

My local paintball place uses 50.cal balls for the younger kids that come and play. The guns look pretty smart too. I would love to have a go, just for the ****s and giggles.
