Hhhhmmmm!

This is not a personal dig at you, merely an observation on tournament organisers and i'm sure that you will deliver all that you say you can. BUT if for any reason you can't get 4500psi fills OR it turns out that your reffing crew have only reffed the Eskimo Paintball League First Round, OR, OR, OR...

Let the players know before they arrive!!!

One of my biggest gripes about tournaments is when they don't deliver on their promises. Last three times i've been ballin' whether for tournament or training the promise of 4500psi hasn't materialised and that means i can't through all the paint in my pack and that pisses me off! :D

If i know that i'll only get 3000psi fills before i get there i can deal with it. If i know that toilets on site means a bucket in the corner i can deal with it... Blah, blah, blah.

Rant over! Sounds like a really good idea and 7 man is definitely the way to go!;)

Well...

The Control Freaks will definately be reffing the event and we are ging to be going on a marshal training ukpsf thing in the near future so you don't need to worry about that side of things, not sure if i am shouting my mouth off but i think that Tom is getting/trying to get H-pac services to supply the air for the event. Tom has also told me that there are toliet facilities and dare i say...showers! (but don't quote me on that) Tom! please correct all my errors now! :D
Hope this helps, Robin

suggestions

choose your dates very carefully, easier said than done but don't clash with anything big and avoid the weekend just before or after a S7 or millennium.

good marshals and a big name ultimate

some where to hide when it rains

MUST have 4500psi, those northen dudes with the lorry are cool

individualy netted fields so people can watch from what ever angle they want

advertise and make it as easy as possible for teams to pay up in advance.

trade, especially if not only the paint distributors

prizes are cool but not nessesary, loads of trophies are!!

erm can't think of anything else ..... oh yeah girls, lots and lots of em!!!!

Thanks for all your imput guys, Ive taken note of it all!

The date has been set for the 28th/29th June '03.

Ive been speaking to H-Pac about supplying air for the event so 4500psi is sorted.

There should be tradestands from numerous companies (yet to be confirmed!)

Thell be a Large players tent just incase we dont get blessed with lovely English weather!

There will be 3 individually netted fields..

And Robin was right, there are shower + toilet facilities on site!

Any other suggestions for the tournament are most welcome!

Thanks,

Tommy Pemberton

starting to sound really cool!

should be a great laugh the beach is really nice loads of room for the fields, should be wicked! Nice to know there will be 4.5k fills... 2k fills like on Saturday are quite scary (even when just messing around)
cheers, RObin
