I have a 12Litre 300bar (4500psi fills) dive tank for sale, comes with a fill rig.

This has just been Hydro retested and now has certificate for surface use for 5 years.

Yellow colour tank with protective netting, plastic carry handle and rubber protective boot. Excellent condition.

Come complete with a fill rig for standard air system fill nipple.

£140 o.v.n.o.

Can't post so would need to be collected. I live in Congleton, Cheshire.

How many 4000ish psi fills would get roughly for a 1.1 bottle?

Thanks

about 2 ..then you'd get 3 or 4 3000 ish fills maybe 5/6 ...then 3 or 4 2000 ish fills .(very rough estimates)....basically you could run 2 shockers/dm's for a full day ,3 ego's/angels (stock) for a full day's play and by a day i mean a days training which for me is about 2 cases maybe a bit more . in my experience anyway ...but im right ;)

also without having a compressor this is as good as it gets for air fills as far as capacity meets portability meets availabilty ..if that makes sense

without bias. Ben is a good guy to deal with and fill rig included makes it a very nice deal..expect to pay £150-200 for a new tank plus £25-40 for a fill rig ..:)

just on a sidenote... the netting is so when you dive, your bcd can grip onto the tank easier... :) not to protect it :D

also, i may be interested in this, but need to speak to some people first. :)

Hi Neil,

I would rather hang on for the time being for a better offer. It has only just had a retest (£30) and includes a fill rig so I think £140 is a very fair price. £5 either way I wouldn't be too bothered but £20 is too much of a hit I am afraid.

£150-£200 is very high for a new tank

12l 232BAR are about £100
12l 300BAR are about £160

And the netting is for both protection and grip ( and might make identifyiny your tank a bit easier. It's very much like the 'netting' they stick round your bottles in duty free
