big thanks to the pompey boys for marshalling, except frankie, that boy gets no credit in my opinion. just kidding, they all did a very good job under difficult circumstances.

was a good day - the pompey uni freshers had a bad day kit wise as did many others - think it was summed up best when i made the clever judgement to call myself out when all in one i chopped half a hopper, balls didnt feed and goggles fogged up about half a second before i got mugged, heehee, sorry for taking that privelige away from someone.

big thanks to Dean T from Halloween and Adam one of Dave's marshalls who has never played tourny before who stepped into the fold halfway during the day.

i stand by the fact that a bad day of paintball will always be a good day of paintball and there was some quality skill and sportsmanship there yesterday and i'm sure Mike and D will post up results and talk of another when they have time to start organising it.

regarding these dvds, is it possible to try before you buy. Ideally would like to buy one of the single ones and if its what we are a team are looking for footage wise then will pay the rest to get the team dvd i.e. money for the first dvd is taken off the cost of the team one. If the dvd is not what we are looking for then you still get the money from the single dvd sale.

OK guys all in all was an excellent day. Even the weather went our way after a short spell of showers.

This now unfortunately leads me onto the problems we had.

We were aware that some people were unhappy with certain players who were rumoured to be of a high level. We spoke to the said players and we were told that the players were of a standard allowed for the tournament. Unfortunately there is little more we could do at the time about this. We largely left the policing of players up to the teams.

In future a set level will be applied and put up on the forums, if anyone has played anything other than what is said they cannot play. This is the fairest way we can keep this tournament rookie.

If higher standard players do want to get involved post up and we can consider starting an open division for you aswell as the rookie division. If there is enough interest this can be applied to our next event which nicely brings me onto the next point.

There will definately be another event. We are looking to have one around early summer. Nearer the time a date will be announced. As already mentioned there will possibly be the addition of an open division or something along those lines.

I recon it may show, me mooning at a ref, mid game, to see if he could spot a hit on my back.

I actually turned around, arse facing my opponent and shouted to the marshal..no response meant I continued playing...actually there was a marshal behind me too..so all was good...bounced!
