Depends what the signatures for, in that case, thats what they requested, and they were gamers, so the signatures are relevant to what they wanted. I didnt boast how good i was, i never actually mentioned i was good , i simply said its a piece of crap and even i can make something better than that.
You said that you could make something better than a £400,000 costing logo design. Without looking at the design, one would think that you were boasting your capability of being worthing of pay. People that receive pay for their service are usually able to give it to a high-quality.
Also, i didn't say that your designs weren't relevant. I said that they weren't logos, as they are. They are graphics. A logo can be hand drawn, whilst a graphic is done on a computer with a software package, like PS or Coral.

Ok for a start, there was no need to flame Proto for his images, he stated in his post that he couldn't be bothered to make one, instead choosing to demonstrate his abilities. end of that debate then.

Well from a designers stand point I'm really not arsed. I mean sure it could be better, but to be honest I'm pass caring whether it is or it isnt. As a seasoned logo designer (I've done quite a few logos for local businesses at least two in the paintball world, teams and IPPU) I could pass a comment about 'doing it better' but the fact is someone else got the job, someone else completed the brief and like it or lump it its not going anywhere soon.

I really think the question you should ask yourself is:
Does it effect me and should I care?
(being a brit doesnt count as it directly effecting you)

they should of let school kids design the logo and gave the winner a new mountain bike or something... owwww wait .. they obviously allowed a chav to design it and gave the winner a bag of weed and a new pitbull..

+ aiiii this isnt the weekend and im quite sure that paintball isnt classed as a sport.. u would know this if u read PGi most months .. :)

Stencil, you are missing his point, he isn't 'boasting' about what he can do at all, but what he is suggesting is, the attempt that has been made is bad, so bad in fact, anybody could do better ... to pay 400,000 for that piece of sh!t is an insult to everybody who paid for it.
I ain't no designer, never claimed to be but I could come up with something better, I ain't saying it will be any good, just better, two different things !!!

You get his point now?

the crappy thing is that everyone who pays taxs has just paid a bit towards that logo. LOL .. thats some houses or health care or elderly help down the drain on a crappy little logo which looks like someone with a spray can did it in 20seconds whilst having 1 eye on the lookout for the 'fuzz'
