Please bear in mind that I've been out of the loop for the last few years. Whatever happened to NXE's JRNY loader? I remember it was teased for months, finally unveiled, some were sold but where is it now? Can't seem to find it anywhere on NXE's website. Were they rubbish or did something else more sinister happen?

It was a poor concept.

I remember talking with Tom Allen about a screw drive hopper about 10 years ago.
The problem is, the paint is inside the screw, contacting every ball from multiple sides.
As the screw rotates its just too much friction.

Despite a very smart tension sensor It was doomed from the start.
Being a typical paintball company, NXE got as far as advertising the release of the product before discovering the flaws.

What a mess. Could do with replacing my falling apart Reloader B and mulling over all the loader options. I'd love a Rotor but concerned about their reball performance and of course the joke price point. The Prophecy looks decent but also an absolute ballache to disassemble.

I had a JRNY and used it for a few months for before trading it for a rotor. I had no problems with it and the ability to use camera Lithium Cells or AA's was a bonus. profile wise not as bad as others may say, it looks back heavy but it aint. I also liked the push button release / security on the hopper lid.

Disassembling its the easy part......putting the prophecy back together is where the agro lies.
