Just a bit of research

I was wondering which brand/type of paintballs you guys use and would recommend?
Also what you look for when purchasing paintballs for example price, fill, roundness, fill colour?

Let me know what your thoughts and opinions are, any info helps :)

Cheers,
Foster

I look for the shape first as that means they will fill the barrel better so better consitency at fos and less movement whilst in flight. The Fill has to be good consitency so it makes and leaves a mark, some people prefer brighter colours but as long as it leaves a good mark that should not deter you.
Price is one you with never win, everyone wants cheap paint but sometimes good paint comes at a cost.
Tigers have been training with powerball/sterling this year and this could be a big year for them. I have known them more for site paint than tourney, but there is nothing choose in shape between the whole range, it is perfectly round. So you know exactly where it's going to shot even if it is the lower range

Cheers for that, never used sterling myself but may have to give them a try to see how they shoot

Darksports have just launched their own brand available in both .68 and .50 calibres. They have tournament and field grades available. Roundness is important as mentioned earlier in the thread.

Everybody is just going to tell you who they are sponsored by.

You should look for the best from each category, but bear in mind that they tend to be mutually exclusive most of the time, i.e. cheap paint aint round.

But having said that I've been out of the game for years, so it might all be different now. Do they still make Chronic? Or that Evil stuff that turned you yellow?
