I dont think many on here will know what an r5gt is?

Best pocket rocket of the 90's.

I had a 90 R5 raider and a B reg gordini in red:rolleyes: those were the days.

If you dont blow the Turbo on them:rolleyes: Amazingly fast for a 1.4 and great handling.

=] There great fun, ive had mine since i was 18 (21 now). Its up the barn we rent now ive got the engine out just saving for a rebuild. Im going for road legal track car ;)

I wanted a renault 5 as my first car and on my 17th birthday my Dad gives me an AX GTI. Still quick but I was disappointed :p

I also had a mk1 fiesta xr2, didnt know what i had at the time so i swapped it for a fiat uno turbo ie.
Turbo charged rust bucket, but went well in a straight line.

Then i got a lancia delta hf turbo in martini colours, again didnt realy know what i had so abused it, meant to be worth some money now:(

Ya the delta would be. Was it a left hand drive? Uno turbo.. weapon. My mate has a punto turbo just sitting on his drive. There quite hard to come by now the uno+puntos... well a good condition one..

Im into the older cars coz of my stepdad hes into the hot rod scene. Plus the older cars are easier to fix. If i broke down in my 5 i have a chance of getting it started again... In a newer car its £60 an hour on a machine just to tell you what the problem is:rolleyes:
