Deathstix Barrel kit Thread

Ok, so I'm a complete spack.

I have a back on the deathstix kit stuck on the barrel.

Now, I do have quite a strong grip due to my circus days but I am a little unsure onto which way to turn it.

Do any of you good chaps know which way to turn the barrel to remove it from the back? Are they threaded the same as the barrel into the gat or the opposite way?

Years ago I had a stiffi kit and if I remember rightly they were threaded in opposite ways.

Obviously, I dont want to do any damage to the barrel so any help would be excellent.

not sure which way the threads go, but i had a barrel stuck together, i soaked it in hot water for a few miniuts and they came apart with ease.

Tip, turn clockwise to unscrew.

It was threaded the opposite way to normal. I think my hands are going to fall off but I finally did it.
