Now this was the post I really wanted to see ..... I'm not really going to go into too much detail but it was imperative BOP threw their hat in the ring alongside Rich's.Well it looks like another season is about to start in a very positive light. We look forward to seeing you all at our events over the course of the year. A big thanks to Rich for getting us to this point and to you the teams for keeping the faith!
Balls Out Promotions
It affords this league with integrity and security because like a lot of great endeavours, it is the chemistry of individuals who tend to move mountains.
I am not suggesting for one second here that Rich didn't have these qualities because he did, it's just that with BOP alongside him, the fight to put UK paintball back on its feet is now a much less daunting proposition.
...And the mountain I referred to earlier is the UK demographic of tournament ballers.
They have been default fed an acceptance level of quality of event that falls well below what I would, or even could describe as 'acceptable' in terms of quality received compared to MONEY paid.
Along comes Balls Out Promotions last year and resets the bar as to what promoters can reasonably give our players and teams in terms of 'bang for your buck' and trust me, paintball is just like any other business here in that, if you don't give your customers, bang for your buck, then when someone else comes along and does, you are gonna have a real tough time in hanging on to what you have been squeezing.
Now before certain ingrates begin nurturing any idea as to me having any connection with the CPPS guys, I actually have nothing to do with them other than I really like what they do for their paying customers ...... that's it I'm afraid, nothing more than that, sad but true
And I say 'sad' because these ingrate people would love to associate me somehow with the CPPS and thus undermine everything I am saying about them; the truth however is, I got fack all to do with them [the CPPS], absolutely fack all!!!
The bottom line with these CPPS guys is ....... the bottom line ..... and that is, what they give you their customer, for the money you pay them.
The cost for these CPPS events is significantly lower and on top of that, if people go and visit any thread that comments upon any event the CPPS has had over the last year or so, it's a refreshing change in rhetoric from what we normally get.
Their events seem devoid of negative comment and that can only mean satisfied customers because we all know what us ballers are like and if there is anything even slightly wrong with the event, then you can bet your bottom-ass dollar, you are gonna read about it on here the next day .... that's a gimme guys, a real gimme.
I know when our teams and players are getting raped; and I have to stand by and watch that crap from a distance even when some of the teams and players from those events declare their loyalties and acceptance with the way things are ... suspicious but true.
Loyalties are peculiar things ..... declared easily but sustained not so easily.
And loyalty is a two way street ya know, to sustain it, you have to treat the other person with respect and an integral part of that respect is doing everything you can to give the customer value for money ......... value for money guys, this is where it's at.
Next time you go to an event, take a long hard look at what you paid, then take a long hard look at what you got.
And if you think there is anything Machiavellian in what I am saying here, then go read the threads entitled CPPS and then do a comparative costing ... you might be surprised.
Welcome back to BOP, your re-entry is exactly what UK sport has needed.
