Ear protection is fine on these, i have used and owned one for around 6 years now and they provide great protection, you can buy "hard" ears to replace the soft foam ones if needed.

Just to throw a cheeky one in the works. I realise you have bought a pair of flex's.....cool cool.. cant go wrong!
But just want to throw some defence in for the Proto EL goggs. yes theyre basic, however, they protect in all the right areas, come with chin strap and you dont have to break your fingers swapping the lense over!!! i've used a pair for a long while, cant fault them. you can switch the lense housing with any of the proto goggle range so can change the colour. all i would say is it is worth upgrading to a thermal lense to replace the fog resistant one......

Hope that helps anyone else thinking of buying them

but for less than £20 a pop......worth a go, even as a spare pair incase you ever need them!

I use this mask. Covers your ears and the lens is easy to change. Only £40.
