Potter, nobody is being banned from anywhere mate; things have happened behind the scenes that have meant I call a halt to the free service/advertising I have been doing for this league.
If and when I think it appropriate to let you guys know what has happened this past year then I will post it all up here.
But I would like people to think about one thing here; I am sure the removal of this league from my site will be put down to some indulgent madness of mine with the blame falling squarely at my feet .. I expect this from such people.
The thing I wish you guys to remember is this; I have always gone on record many times [on this site] in declaring, all I want is for the UK player and team to get a fair deal for the money they pay for events; this is why I joined the Federation, and this is why, I spend a considerable amount of my own money [and trust me, I ain't got a lot] in going to these Fed meetings and spending a considerable amount of my time in sorting Fed stuff out.
My point is, I don't take any money from the players and teams, I have NOTHING whatsoever to gain in this sense, not a feckin penny.
We all hear that 'money is the root of all evil', I 100% agree with this statement because I have seen many occasions whereby money has subverted people I know.
The whole point here is ... I personally, as owner of this site, chose to close down a free service I was giving because I firmly and justly believe, the lust for money [greed] has subverted the people concerned and the best interests of the UK player base has been significantly compromised.
If I did not genuinely believe what I am saying here then I wouldn't have taken such action.
You will hear a plethora of abuse coming my way and I'm afraid this is merely a distraction from what's really been going on.
People always have motives for what they do, generally speaking, money [or lust for money] is the focal point for these motives and as such, if anybody can unearth exactly what I stand to gain from taking the action I did, then I'm all ears.
I have nothing to gain I'm afraid, no matter which way people try to spin it.
At this point, it may well prove useful if you ponder just who makes the money here ...... it won't take long believe me before the penny drops ....
As players and members of teams, you have to take a long hard look at what you pay for and what you consequently get .... then maybe you might come to agree, there is something that's not quite right.
This is not a federation statement and has nothing to do with my role as chairman of the federation, and what's said is not necessarily the view of mine as chairman of the federation.
