Things were darked, however I must say i noticed myself, I thought it was just me staring at a screen for too long but I agree, going a few shades darker would probably help across the board.

if i visit, then navigate away, then visit again later, then it only shows posts since the last visit.
it's useful to be able to bring up the entire last 24hrs posts, as often i don't get a chance to go through the new ones there and then (being that i'm usually browsing at work....)
