How do I tell if this bottle reg is LP or HP.

My pure energy like that, also 3000PSI except the reg collar is blue and I'm told it's LP.

Pure energy composite bottle, 3000 psi.

They only made these in HP 800 psi output.

There is a chance someone put a LP kit in. Only way to be 100% is to test output with an ASA with a gauge.

So the reg colour makes no difference?

Someone did once try to tell me the blue collar meant it was 4500 even though its clearly marked 3000, I ignored that advice. I was sold it as an LP bottle.

hmmm..

A couple years ago, i was told the 3000psi bottles only came with a black collar reg which only came in HP.
The 4500k bottles came with either a red collar reg (HP) or blue collar reg (LP).

Edit* like i said before check the reg with a gauge to be 100%

I guess there's no guarentee that the reg that's on my bottle is the one it came with it originally.

Hi

Get a spare on / off with bleed hole, ie CP on / off or Eclipse oops, etc.

Install a HP guage in one of the ports and a blanking plug in the next.

Stand back and admire your work...

Also can be used for testing inline regs though having an inline bleed set up helps as you can test consistent recharge, plus maybe an LP gauge for easier reading...
