Fat burning products like thermogenics are scetchy at best, the same effect can be obtained by eating high ammounts of protein (suplimented with protein shakes ect if needed).

Protein is thermogenic by nature, it takes 30% more effort for your body to break it down over carbs and fats.

As for creatine, its a highly researched product, and supplimentation can even be reccomended for its effects, which amongst giving a higher workout protential include delaying or slowing the potential onset of various mental illnesses, its a very powerful antioxidant and helps prevent heart heart disease.

Thanks Bon,

I'm not after using the thermos as an easy way to lose weight, im already in the gym 3 times a week doing mainly resistance training with 20 mins of HIIT every session

I'm just looking for a little help on bringing down my BF% and have heard Thermapure from myprotein works great?

Thanks for the input dude, especially on the creatine...some interesting facts there

The nutrition business is HUGE and companies bring out products even when there is no real research on whatever it is.

Bon is on the money thermos are a waste of time and money, articles that say they work are normally created by the companies trying to sell them and the people that say they work have normally experienced a placebo effect from them because they think they are taking something useful their natural hormone levels could change, or they might workout a little harder, eat a little better etc, which is what actually is helping.

Just add an extra training session in a week and that will help more.

Creatine is about the only thing that is worth considering due to the huge amount of unbiased scientific research which have confirmed that it definitely has some benefits not just for training but for the elderly and all sorts of other things, however there is a fine art of making it work to it's full potential in a sporting context. However it will have no direct impact on BF, but it could help indirectly.

I just stick with the combo shake of whey, creatine and glutamine.

If your wanting to lose fat its more a case of diet and cardio than supplements.

My brother is law was a pro boby builder Robbo and had a lot to do with HGH, a side effect he has now he isn't training after tearing out his back and shoulder is that he is now developing proper full on moobs! Not worth the result if thats what happens when you stop training :D

Again thanks for the replys

Robbo, HGH isnt my thing mate, I dont train anywhere near enough to get the benefit

Parksey/John, Im just gonna stick to Protein and Creatine I think and see how I get on, yes I do want to lose weight but its important that im losing body fat and not overall muscle

Will keep slogging away at the HIIT and try and tweek my diet a bit
