Changing straps

So guys, I need help getting my strap off my pair of Spectra Flex 8's. Looked at the instructions that came with it, but that only tells you how to change the lens.

I think you can just pull it, but don't want to try it out in case that's not right and I end up breaking something.

Dayum that was fast. Cheers Sid! Needed to know as I just got a pimpin' strap I wanna put on and can't do that with the worn JT one still on.

I find the end of a teaspoon handle easier than a screwdriver, its more rounded and can be used to ease the strap in and out of the slot.

With JTs you should be able to double strap the frames with relative ease if you push the original through a bit first. Many find two straps feel more secure than one.

It depends completely on the style of the spoon! I imagine the handle of the spoon in the kings set would be usefull where as the henley set, or even the jester may prove too cumbersome to negotiate the strap hole.

A very good point Dave, the other thing that I would be jolly carefull of is not using the two spoon method. Many have tried this but it just seems to lead to bouts of impromptu east london crafty cockney musical extraviganza's.
