Well I'm stuck in! no work for me today. .
To be fair, I quite like the snow. It's the only time 4 inches can keep a woman in bed all dayI don't buy in to all this "Iam snowed in" rubbish. It is really so bad you can't open the door and walk to work? Unless you live very high up in Scotland, sounds like a typical British attitude, couple of inches of snow and everyone is "snowed in"! Yeah right!
Icy lanes, winding turns, poorly tractioned car = dont give a **** what you thinkI don't buy in to all this "Iam snowed in" rubbish. It is really so bad you can't open the door and walk to work? Unless you live very high up in Scotland, sounds like a typical British attitude, couple of inches of snow and everyone is "snowed in"! Yeah right!
Down south it is crazy at the moment, was meant to have two appointments in London today and then off to Horsham. I have now cancelled these for my safety as frankly it is not life or death!I don't buy in to all this "Iam snowed in" rubbish. It is really so bad you can't open the door and walk to work? Unless you live very high up in Scotland, sounds like a typical British attitude, couple of inches of snow and everyone is "snowed in"! Yeah right!
No its easy to convince myself that a) I don't get paid enough to spend 5 hours commuting to work, b) I don't need to watch morons crash their cars around me and c) that the snow is pretty and snowmen don't make themselves! Each to their own. I set off at 5.45am and walked to work, took me an hour but hey, thats just me. Iam sure its easy to convince yourself its too bad to go out,and then just take the easy option and stay in bed.
