I am new to owning my own marker and recently bought an Etek 1 off of this forum.

When I gas it up I get a leak from the vent in the inline regulator, what could be causing this?

I opened the regulator up, followed the cleaning instructions but the problem is still there.

It's the orings on the inside of the adjustor pin, strangely enough. Take the reg apart, unscrew the pin, and clean/replace the orings. Should sort you out :)

yes. or the velocity screw could be set too high.
Ive tried this although did not fix the problem. Also ive got many oring sizes apart from the size needed for the adjustor pin, which is typical. Guess its a trip to the paintball shop tomorrow to see if they have any.

Turns out the problem of leaks is not completely fixed. The leak in the inline reg is fixed, although there is a leak from the frame. I have stripped the whole marker now and replace and re oiled every o-ring. The only thing left to replace is the lube and o-rings in the solenoid. Although I am lacking the o-rings that go in the solenoid.
