Millenium Question time?

I will admit that I had to take a phone call part way through, but did anybody who wasn't French or from a former French colony get a question in?

From what I did see/hear it was more like 95% or more discussion in French, then a very brief synopsis of the question and answer in Laurent's broken English, bless him.

Nice to hear that they will give the media more room to work in (I really didn't have an issue until Campaign where suddenly the space between the netting and the edge of the playing area seemed to have shrunk on some of the field sides).

Otherwise, I think this gave rise to more questions than it answered!

• dates and places of the events
• changes in rules for 2010, refering
• coexistence of cal.68 and cal.50
• sponsors, trade show
• fields, layout 2010
• spots, divisions, relegations, pulls

So any one know any thing about this then or is it just the french?

Would anyone who speaks French care to provide a summary of the topics covered?

Or direct us to a link with a suitable translation?

Have a little think about possible answers to that question bud; there are plenty of them.
I realise that there are a lot of French, mostly in France, however, what I was eluding to was the French dislike of using another language, even when they are capable of doing so.

This is supposed to be a European series, not a French one. The Millennium saw fit to promote the webcast with Laurent in English on its site. Most Europeans learn English as a second language and the brief synopsis of the question and reply given on the webcast didn't cover most of what was discussed in French!

2010 CALENDAR

SPAIN: 16TH - 18TH April 2010: Confirmed

GERMANY: 21ST - 24TH May 2010: Confirmed

FRANCE: 02ND - 04TH July 2010: To Be Confirmed

ENGLAND: 10TH - 12TH September 2010: To Be Confirmed

TURKEY: 22ND - 24TH October 2010: To Be Confirmed
These may have been posted on the Millennium website, but when 4 weeks later a member of the Millennium board mentions that the first event may be Spain or Portugal then surely it brings the whole calendar in to question.

As for a German event, there seem to be two schools of thought on the recent Berlin incident, those who were there and involved in it and another who to wish to purvey the idea to everyone else that it never happened and that everything is fine and dandy. German law prohibits paintball played to the millennium rules, all foreign teams entering Germany with non F stamped markers risk having them confiscated and arrested for firearms charges. Even German teams, or those that have taken the precaution of having F stamped markers, risk having them markers confiscated and subsequent arrest on firearms charges if it is proved they can be adjusted to fire more than 214 fps.

With the above in mind, it casts a doubt on the whole Millennium calendar, the only given is probably Turkey as that is most probably the event they will make the most money out of.

It is an interview of french guy on a french forum, why should they speak sometimes else than french ?

I will try to translate what I can asap.
Could be good to have an interview from a MS Board member (even if on "paper" not on video) on p8ntballer to ask some question sometimes.

My point was that the brief English synopsis was exactly that, and the webcast was promoted by a Millennium news item - in English and on their website - the first for nearly a month, inviting questions for the webcast!

I have to admit my French is rather schoolboy, and even then it was far from my best subject. I can just about get the gist of a conversation, but translating it would be another venture. Hat off it you do.
