Not a fan of PBnation :(

For a few days now i have been browsing the world of PBnation, and im not that impressed. What topped it off for me and made me post this thread was the link to Robbo's article on 50cal. now whether or not you’re a 50 fan, there is no need to be as abusive and pointless as some of those yankee ballers. some seemed more interested in getting jibes in than discussing the issue.

Also PBnation seems to have a problem with "Newbies" now yes i definitely consider myself a newbie (As currently im pretty cr@p at paintball) but yankee ballers seem to hate and vilifey anyone who expresses an interest in paintball and doesnt know the terminology or is abit lost on the forums. They just abuse and ridicule. Then they go on to say 50cal wont help the sport, when in fact its their attitude that is stopping new players coming into our sport. At least the 50cal crew are trying, for better or worse.

This is no disrespect to those genuinely nice people on the PBnation, and the owners of the site, but I got tired of reading abusive comments from so many “Banned” users, is it just the American culture? To “trash talk” etc


Thank the lord and jebus I found our wonderful forum before PBnation, otherwise I may have been a golfer! (That would never happen)

It's been often said that Pbn is a unique place were at any time you can find a hundred or so paintballers discussing their hobby

....and fifteen hundred 12yr olds calling each other gay.

No doubt your right, but unless you know the ropes like yourself, and can sift through the rubbish then it most certainly puts people off

And your right about the 12yr olds, every other comment is "Thats gay" or "your gay" with an over enthusiasm for the, purple Rolleyes smiley as if its cool to think things are “Lame”
