i currently have and ego 08 which is a fantastic marker that i cannot fault in any way. My questions are. What are the differeces between an 08 and an 09 as looking at pictures i cannot see many differences. Does the 09 have better firing modes etc. I am asking as i am thinking of getting an 09. Please can anyone help

S3 inline regulator - new internals that purges all the air out of the HPR when you degass marker from the ASA on/off. Though there will still be a small amount of air left in the LPR (not enough to shoot a paintball). Safety and convienience.

09 has same LPR piston and smaller spring as that of the SL8R.

09 has a larger valve chamber = lower operating pressure.

Cure 2 bolt stock.

Distance between the rammer and bolt has been shortened (shorter bolt pin). Helps rid of some twisting back and forth of the bolt when rammer moves back and forth.

New solenoid. No more QEV block (no need for any broken diaphrams, and less internal hoses to worry about)

New board/software (integrated beeper/audio confirmation)

Shaft 3 barrel.

Maybe a couple more things, but cannot think of them right now.:)

If the question is as simple as is the 09 better than the 08 then the answer is yes. Planet wouldn't make it worse. If the question is "is it worth the extra money?" then that completely comes down to your financials and needs.
