I was just about to post the same thing. All these 'RARE! 1 of 25!' threads are such a let down when it turns out to be a bog standard 09 Ego which happens to be in a particular shade of blue, zzzzzz.IMHO, anodizing and laser doesn't make something special\rare. Way too easy to replicate.

I'd also agree on the split between factory and custom - so you get things like the early limited edition Angels, which were extensively milled in comparison to the standard models and then markers like that Franken-gat in the PBN link above.

Too true the only ones that would be any different would be players on flagship teams like Ironmen or Dynasty. Where they may harness some unique software or internals that are prototype or a say a trigger thats different. However each year it is becoming more and more buy this or that gun and its the same as any others.Gone are the days when RARE guns had performance advantages or trick bits from the factory. Even now, and no disrespect is meant by this, pro team guns are pretty much identical to what you get off the shelf but with a fancy colour scheme or shiny tattoo on there.
