We are toying with the idea of turning this into a series. what are your views? I had a great day, was good to meet some of the old school players and good to put some names to faces finally!

So... who would play this as a series, and how many events would you like? :)

well my team is looking for this sort of thing.
however were up in the north east of scotland and doing it everyweekend would kill our wallets a few diffrent days at diffrent sites over the countrie would rock for me personaly.

working ongetting sum good funding from a few possible sponsors. if we get sponsor they wont us to travel so i dunno :p

i guess it come down to it being more of a league so everyother weekend i guess would be needed depending on team numbers

Its good to know there are keen woodsballers around! If it were a series, it would be once a month....

once a month is great for us.
id suggest middle as most grounds have there walks at the end of the month,

also will there be like a home team away team ? or all at one venue ?
obviously am keen on trying many sites. and as my local site is good to us via costs and amount of time i get to play id love to bring sum customs back to them

If you were to do a series i would say don't do more than 5 rounds throughout the year.

Start small and build it up. Remember people want quality, not quantity. (well i do)

UWL was AWESOME! Ged and the crew ran a great event and i'm already looking to hot-rod "my" (well Keith Belsey's actually) pump gun for the next one.

Playing in the woods again was a whole new lease of life and brings a breath of fresh air into the sport; not to mention something that we all neglect at times: having FUN :)

Definitely give UWL a go in 2010 - you won't regret it.

I've just ordered a new phantom from Mike Cassidy at CCI to be ready for the next one.
My old one is starting to show it's age but as it has lasted 20 years $288 for a new one seems very cheap.

It was a great day, reminded me off the atmosphere you got at the old NTF limited paint tourneys. You could end up playing for a different team to make up numbers or spending the time between games fixing someone elses gun.

I reckon 5 or 6 times a year would be great. Every month can get a bit expensive and means you have to look at dropping other things.

Well us normal mortals who don't work for paintball companies or who are without sponsorship can have these problems :)

All in all, it was a great day! Cheers Eric, we were pretty pleased ourselves!

Highlight of the day was shooting Ledz; however Mark Toye more than made it up for the baggers by giving me one nasty welt ;)

Think we need to look at the hopper situation, I know that Tommy implemented the limited hopper rule in case anyone was using 'cheater boards' but half of us ended up just using gravity fed hoppers (you could probably see us shaking our markers as we shot!). If we're limited at 12 anyway, let us use Rotors!! Who owns an Egg?!

I agree with John on building this up, going in at say 5 a year may limit the amount of people attending.......I'd pick 3 well chosen dates for 2010 and get the interest up first.

Big thanks to Ged, Gurkha and all the staff at NPF, and of course Tommy Cole.

Nicky, you shot more people with that pump than you do with your GEO :D
