Smart Parts Epiphany Misfiring HELP PLEASE !

So to confirm:

When the pressure is set lower, it makes a louder sound?
If so, that means your solenoid is struggling to open against the guns operating pressure.

This happens on the ion/epiphany solenoid sometimes because its poorly made.
Nobody except smart parts makes a solenoid out of plastic.

If the gun is new contact the retailer for a replacement board.

If not:
You will need to either increase the dwell to help your solenoid open better.

OR change the insert in your fire chamber, to allow the gun to function at a lower pressure where the solenoid does not have problems.

your ion would....an epiphany with an insert WON'T.

best bet is to try and increase the dwell.

as john says, the solenoid can struggle with the higher Operating Pressure. the epi eats batteries - so make sure you use a high quality fresh battery for every days play.

edit: would also help if you can give me the insert installed and the current OP and dwell settings.

set the OP to 170psi to start.

bottom out the dwell and ROF. then increase the dwell until you get full volume cycling consistantly, then add 10 more (as its winter and cold :().

check chrono.

if you need to adjust the pressure dramatically to get your fps right, redo the dwell at that pressure, then re-chrono and fine tune your fps.

we had ours set to around 190psi with the green insert and dwell coming in around 17 from bottom.

before you go pissing about with settings and ****, you said you've ran out of air.. how much did you have when the problem was occuring? it could be something as simple as you didnt have enough air in your tank, causing irregularities..
