sup'air is just another name for speedball. And the SLG is pretty to maintain and use. Just use a 1/4 allen key to screw the back cap out and the bolt comes with it. Squeegee and fluffy stick out the barrel, stick it back together and wipe off the outside and you're done.

Just to clarify, to go to a punter day, most sites won't allow you to use an slg for two reasons. A, some sites are C02 only and plug a C02 bottle into your slg then dont plan to use it again and B, some believe it's just unfair to uses an electro gun when everyone else is using a mechanical.

So, SLG is great for tournaments and walk on days but unless the site you want to go to on a punter day uses both HPA/Air and allows you to use electronic markers then you're screwed :D

Just remember, MASK FIRST. 99.99% of sites'll let you use your own goggles at punter days even if you can't use anything else.

Hope this helps!

Aside from that large corporation that won't change, I think everyone else runs air anyway. Or at least any site that offers walkon days should definately have air available. Though why would you want to go to a punter day now anyway? Lol.

Ambush Paintball

Hello mate,

Ambush, easiest site to get to from Portsmouth using public transport, also happens to be the closest. Simple matter of getting a train to Botley station and then asking the nice people with Demo Squad if you can sponge a lift. Alternatively you can man up and walk the mile or so to the site from the station! :)

Demo squad are holding an open training day on the 8th November, see link: http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=128505

This would be a perfect oppurtunity for you to get down and get a feel of some different guns/masks and finally figure out what you really really want! The Demo guys are nice and friendly, so just ask them a million questions, and if that fails come find me on site and I'll have a chat with you.

Good luck! :)

P.S. Ambush do awesome lunch! :D

I'd suggest that you ask them nicely before hand ;)

Bare in mind that Demo squad also have a "Kidz" team (i.e. an entry level/KOTH team) so you may be able to get some practice with them etc.

Best thing you can do is get down the site, chat to some people and see how it all goes. I wouldn't expect to be able to play all day with zero kit mind you ;)

Sources for this please? ;)
Delta force ( or the Oakwood and Quarrywood centre's anyway as i was going to buy a vibe) Offtopic anyways - lets not thread jack

Oh and Delta Force operate a rule whereby if someone complains about someone else using their own gear, they don't allow them to use it. Want the PDF proving it :p

No really, i have it.

appoogies, just re read my post an it seemed cheeky  just never heard that rule, but with delta force nothing suprises me. I think paying £7 per 100 balls will outprice me there anyway!

:D
