Well arrived in Antalya yesterday afternoon to 31 degree sunshine.

Buying the visa and passing through immigration was no issue and quick. Luggage retrieval was a little slow at the airport, took us over an hour to get out of there.

Trip from airport is about 45 minutes to venue and Limak Limra hotel.

Hotel is good, but some confusion over what is included in the "All Inclusive" package. Last night Rum was included, this morning it wasn't but vodka was, rum was again this afternoon. but rest assured I will tackle this important issue!!

Food however so far is good.

Visited the site this morning and have to say the grass is fantastic, best natural surface this year, its proper football pitches that have been kept absolutely perfect. It's like walking onto wembly before a cup final.

The venue itself as a site looks small, however this should not be an issue for the four fields planned. I'm not sure how much of a back stage area there will be though, unimportant to the players I guess but for the setup crew it might be a pain.

People are friendly and the local officials seem to be appreciative of us bringing paintball to the area.

There are a lot of Russian and German customers at the hotels and I think its important for those that are coming to remember that not only are they representing their countries but also Paintball as a sport. The hotels are nice All Inclusive resorts with families staying in them too. Please lets not have a repeat of other events where hotels get trashed and Paintball gets a bad name.

Weather for the week looks good with the only showers on expected on Sunday's finals day. Temperature mid 80's with mainly sun the rest of the week. If you can get a last minute cheap flight - it may be worth coming out to relax a bit and enjoy some ball.

I wonder what the field owner/manager thinks of paintball after the tournament. New site for next year perhaps :D

yes the visa is £10 sterling. I think 15 euro. Give them the right money or don't expect change.

Paying for two or three with the right total of money is ok but on your own make sure you have correct amount.

Just a thought...are you sure you need the Visa? I say this as I recently went to Egypt and everyone was buying Visa's although you only need a Visa if you are traveling through boarder control into different regions of Egypt. I just said no Visa at boarder control...

Might be worth looking into as the resort is only 45mins away I cant see when you would need a Visa.

I don't recall Turkey being in Egypt, or even on the same continent!
