In my opinion they should play semi-pro along with the rest of the europe pro teams, im sure they could smash most of the newer semi-pro teams.

Why?

They used to be able to compete with the highest American teams just fine, so why not try to get up to that level again rather than sandbag and smash up younger teams?

Well yes and no, they used to play 7-man Pro in the NPPL not NXL X-ball!

Different rules, different format, different style of play, different tactics, and the same applies to the M7 Millennium format to a certain degree too.

I was fortunate enough to sit next to Magued at dinner on the Friday night of Cup last year and we had a chat about this, he said the boys would dearly love to play NXL but had issues about committing to a full series, along side Millennium and the other stuff they had going on in their lives.

If they can get a spot in the NXL for Cup then all power to them, if they play D1/Semi-Pro then they will be mixing it up with Nexus and some other expected top Euro teams and some bloody good US and International oposition.

Whatever, I expect they will have a blast, its not like individual Joy players haven't played PSP before, just never as a Joy team!

i dont think some people realise a fair few of the semi pro teams are freakin amazing. no doubt nexus and joy will take a beating from atleast one semi pro team. thats not being harsh or downgrading the euro teams making the trip. theres just some really good teams in the semi pro league

the majority of the semi-pro teams are amazing, about 4 of them could even play pro and stand their own.

i would be impressed if any team made a dent in Aftermath 2, never mind the euro teams.

im sure joy played nxl before, they are in natural selection, but they got pummeled like 2-13 or something ridiculous against XSV.

Even the Am teams in the USA could kick ass over here.

They are just on another level.

Hi.

We will ofcourse play in the pro division race2seven.
As I appriciate that semipro have awesome teams I wouldnt have my team play anything else then in the Pro division. Will we win? No we wont, as winning event in the US takes time and practice against the best. We havent had that for 2 years now and therefor we have lost momentum. But we will give it our best.
