Event Information
General Format
- 5 player teams
- Old Skool No Battle Pack format
- 8 games per event Old Skool Triple Crown Format
- No trophies just paint prizes
- All teams do a marshalling stint
- Strictly semi - no ramping
- 3000psi air fills
- Max 18 teams at the event
- Entry fee is £150/team**
First 12/15/18 with the £100 deposit paid will play. Deposit is refunded at the last leg - you drop out or miss a leg you forfeit the deposit.
** If players are NOT UKPSF members the entry fee is £175/team (£35/player)
Old Skool No Battlepack Format
All players start the game with a maximum of 400 paintballs these can be in:
- One standard hopper and one 140 shot pot
- OR
- One modified hopper or extended size hopper (no pots allowed)
If you use a pot you must be in possession of that pot for the first minute of the game, this is to prevent players passing pots to other players so they have extra paintballs at the start of the game.
If you are eliminated in the first minute you must take your pot with you !!
Once a minute has lapsed you can pass your pot to another player.
Players might be selected at random for a "paint check" - if you are found to be in possession of 401 or more paintballs you will be eliminated from that game and your team will receive 25 penalty points.
Scoring/Game time/Flag
All games will be 10 minute games but if the game is completed in under 8 minutes you will receive 10 bonus points.
- Two flag games
- Scoring is 10 points per elimination (max 50 points)
- Flag hang 40 points
- Flag in transit 20 points
- Time bonus 10 points
Maximum score is 100 points - 5 elimination, flag hang and under 8 minutes.
Chrono and modes
Strictly semi automatic - no ramping or other modes - Chrono limit is 280fps
It is a players responsibility to make sure you are under the chrono limit - IF you present yourself to the marshal on the field to start a game and your marker is HOT (over the limit) you will not be allowed to play, dial the marker down or use a replacement. (You can't give you paint to another player)
if you are running close to the limit or are worried you might break the chrono limit ASK the field marshal if you can check your marker using the on field chrono BEFORE the marshal calls your team onto the field. Once the marshal has called your team onto the field if you break the chrono limits then you will not be allowed to play.
Old Skool Triple Crown format
A very simple format (assuming there are 9 or more teams) you will have 8 games drawn at random. If there are 12 teams playing the event you will play 8 of the teams and there is only one division . Maximum score possible is 800 points.
