Okay this one has me stumped.
Basically heres my setup first as there are virtually no stock parts.

Hyper 2 Reg
Empire Nano On/off ASA
Lucky Stage 1+2 (Note can swap to stock chamber with no effect)
SP 360 QEV fitted
Stock internals
Dwell 18 clicks

Right, 4 days ago I tested this in a mates back garden with paint in to test it after a disassemble and re-assembly.
Shot 200 balls, no breaks, no leaks, no problem.
satisfied I put it in its case and left it for a few days.
After Airing it up last night, I get Drop off, basically on ramping, the first 10/12 shots are fine, then its eventually goes to a pft pft pft sound, and the Bolt takes a long time to cycle. I have to wait in order for the pressure to build up again.
The gauge on the forward reg reads 150psi, and this drops significantly during firing.

I thoroughly cleaned the reg in and out, checked O-rings on every part of the marker, I cleaned the solanoid, checked the condition of the QEV. checked the macro for blockages, replaces the battery with a fresh procell. Cleaned and Lubed up the Bolt system. checked the Air passages on the Stage 2.
** The only thing that I changed between the 4/5 days was the tank, which I borrowed from work with a full 3K fill **

Everything is fine I believe, I just cant understand how sitting in a box for four days can do so much 'damage' to a marker and p*** me off so much

But Im all out of idea. Any help will be appreciated.

was it a low pressure tank, was it screwed in properly.

Tinkering ain’t easy
First step and this is the major cause....replace the battery (again just in case its a bad batch of batteries)

If that doesnt work as Tom says was it on a LP tank the second time, sounds like the reg is not re-charging quick enough.

Try it again with the original tank first if it continues then if you have access to another reg stick that on the gun and re-try. If it is still the same then check you dont have too much lube on the bolt, take a bit off and try again if that doest work try upping your dwell slightly.

Our club ions were plagued by this problem (although our problem was dirty reballs). Assuming you weren't using a LP bottle, first thing is to change the battery again, as this is the typical cause of this problem (especially if it was cold when you tested it). Next, up the dwell. If that doesn't work change out the orings on the bolt and make sure you used the correct amount of lube on them, as well as cleaning the inside of the firing can well. If that fails....try changing out the microline hoses in case they're clogged, but that's more of a last ditch attempt.

agreed.

check tank output pressure - ions prefer HP.
battery.
strip and clean your hyper 2 as it may be restricting flow through.
dwell.
with the lucky 1 & 2 and QEV, an operating pressure of around 150psi should be ok.

if it is shooting fine without ramping then the most likely cause of the drop off under ramp is the reduction of recharge rate, possibly as the tank has an LP input. also may be due to the dwell/ROFD setup. how fast have you set it up to ramp?

after changing the battery follow the guide for dwell optimisation in the ion manual.
with your set up you should be able to put in a fairly low ROFD, and a reasonably low dwell.

Back from the walkon at Ambush (Awesome day out by the way)
And....
It was the tank, I swapped the tank out for another one that was on site (Bare in mind they are all HP Pure energy tanks) And volois it worked!
I have no idea why, but it worked. However before I went on the field, I tried all the suggestions above this morning. So, problem solved ...
Thanks all for your help, much appreciated.
