Hey guys, I think this is the right forum for this, so here is my question.

This is the first tournament I will attend, and I was just wondering what the case was for a spectator. Do I need to purchase tickets beforehand, or do I just turn up on the day?

to watch the divisional fields last year there was no fee .. i dont think there was a fee to watch the pro field either (but we had ref wristbands on so this may not be the case to just the spectators). One things for sure its going to be an amazing 5 days...hopefully one of the PSP crew can clear this up for you.

to be fair mate the divisonal fields offer up some amazing games

No, but it got his post count up one!

To the OP.

Keep and eye on http://www.pspevents.com/ for the availability and options for grandstand seating/boxes etc. as the date draws nearer.

IIRC spectator access to the NXL/Pro field is by ticket only, if not all sold out they should be available on site, but buying a week pass works out cheaper usually (depends if you want to spend all week on site). Obviously, for me with a media pass i can go pretty much where I want.

For the divisoinal fields, including the Semi-pro/Div 1 field, there is free spectator access, usually with bleacher seating, on the snake side. I can't coment on the layout of the new site, but on the old site there were 10 fields to choose from, so plenty of play to get a look at.
