I totaly understand what your sayin, It's just that me + a credit card = Bad news! haha, though i suppose i could just cut it up when I'm done.
and with that comment you expect credit from somewhere.

Bank loan or overdraft, you can't abuse that.

well....

To be fair, if anyone is just starting out going to buy a very expensive gun, it brings up a number of issues, firstly it wont make you a great player because you have "the best" gear and secondly isnt the best investment, im a new player, and ive taken the wiser wisdom ive been told which is to buy second hand, on as much as you can, learn and gain experience then buy better upgradeswhen you get better! one amazing way to learn is this very site the forums are great for learning and also getting some great deals!

im asuming your a new player, as its in the newbies thread, if not knock yourself out and get all the gear your hear desires! or your wallet can handle :p

Yeah i know, i am impatient. I do have the proto SLG 09 I've played with a few times, i was speaking to a couple of Pro's/semi Pro's, (don't know who they were) and they said the SLG would only last a year or so before breaking down completely, so if I'm gonna stick to paintballing definately i should get the expensive one as it will last as long as i want.

Cheers

Sell the proto slg £150

Add another £150 and you are looking at a nice ego07, if you can add about another £50 so a total of £350 you can get a brand new ETEK2 from planet..

Hope that helps..

I think you have been the victim of some uninformed and irresponsible advice there. By these 'pros'. (picks self up off floor laughing)

A shiney new ego 9 will break down if your unlucky or dont look after it.
The SLG, if looked after properly might be shooting just as well as the day it was made in 10 years.

Both planet and proto have good customer service, with either marker you wont be left high and dry if something goes wrong.

What you should do is keep the proto and spend your cash on playing and training.
That WILL make you a better player.

As i said spend the cash on paint and other things, ive got a Camo PMR 08, yes its not the best gun in the world, but i treat it as if it was an ego 09! and it does me right when i train with it, plus learning with this gun even helps me in the future, Because if i was training with an amazing gun it wouldnt teach me the skill i needed to be able to play well, as the gun would be helping me alot with its performance not mine, this way with your SLG you can learn the hard way but the right way :)
