I hardly think coming from the BL standpoint you can claim they havent done similar things to PE in terms of improving and building upon existing designs.

Also the word innovative does not mean 'new', it is the successful implementation of creative ideas, so id say planet are pretty innovative. Just comming up with the ideas for the little bits they change every year requires alot of innovation.

Bon, how far you want to take this? After all, once the elctro-pneumatic marker was patented how 'innovative' were all those that followed?

Have a chat with Jack Wood when you get a chance and maybe he'll give you an insight into what they do. That guy is quite a genius (as well as Flash on the software side).

They do innovate, you just define the word in a way that suits your argument.
