"I had a Sterling Pump gun in 1993 that had a gas-through-frame hose.........neither of those guns were anywhere NEAR close to having that feature first."

very very very true about the shockers and dynasty.
it was more like a mid range to be honest but everybody bought one. even i did and now i cant get rid of the bugga.
russian legion
dynasty
ton ton
naughty dogs
phillys
they all had them so eerybody bought them. the markers that sells the most and earns the rank of the best marker by many people is the marker thats more well advertised.

i am sure the vanguard creed is a good marker. but i wouldnt risk buying it because to my knowledge i dont know any teams that shoot it. but smart parts have never let me down. so for same price i would prefer the impulse becuase its better advertised already and its from a company who has been in paintball and making markers for 10+ years. they know what there doing

The shocker at the time was indeed a high end gun, not mid ranged. Its only the fact that other companies have come out with newer designs/updated looks etc that the shocker is now considered "mid ranged"

If smaller companies are not supported how do they grow into the larger companies that supply you with a multitude of other products?
Often the customer support, innovation of smaller companies wins hands down to the bigger ones because they need some way to bring in customers from rival companies who have similarly designed products.
I mean im sure we have all been there when dealling with large companies such a gas bill, phone, banks etc when we just feel like a number:rolleyes:

Planet eclipse where renowned for their customer support when they released the 05 replacing almost any part for free no questions. They have done a good job of keeping their customer service high but now parts arnt just replaced willy nilly.

The creed is a new player in this market so you need to give it time to mature. Noone is shooting it right now because its mid season, next year may be a different case.

How is the ego the sheep market gassy? I own and shoot them, i also strip, clean and maintain them after every single use. I am not lazy and love taking markers to bits and 'fixing them'. I have 'fixed' dms, pms, luxes, minis, shockers, i will stop before i bore myself trying to name pretty much every brand i have used or 'fixed'.

You bought a creed, is that not a sheep market where they copied a ego?

I love egos and its not because they are easy to maintain or easy anything, in fairness all (well most), markers are easy to maintain if a little manual reading and common sense is applied. Egos dont break down and provide many years of hassle free service. I know guys who have shot egos and have never even lubed them for over a year and it still shoots fine.

Egos are not the sheep market, egos are high end RELIABLE markers. As with anything things can always be improved and this is where planet come out top dogs! :D

BAA,BAA,BAA

I didn't say everyone who buys an ego is lazy and doesn't look after them so don't try and twist it to make out I said that.

I also never said the ego wasn't a topend marker either

Your team is eclipse sponsored so that is one of the reasons why you shoot them.

So don't try and twist what I have said into what you want it to say Chris.

Didnt Bob when making a timmy simply add electronics to a spider?:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yep and look where it got us. And if it was so "simple" then why hadn't anyone else done it.

Bon have you ever acctually shot a luxe, i don't think so, Bon do you acctually play paintball because when i used to marshall with you just over a year a go, you did'nt play at all.

So stop f*****g talking about guns that you have never shot or owned, and you proberbly never will
Well shows what you know then doesn't it  But then again if your the steve I think you are, then you probably still have your head so far up your own ass you wouldn't see me anyway.
