Paint in fill nipple

Before you all start jumping on the hate wagon just need your advise.

I was playing at weekend and got shot on the bottle, im not sure if paint went into the nipple or not it looked clean so I went to put air in the bottle and it just stayed at the same pressure so I immediately removed the bottle how would i check if the bottle has paint in or how can I dispose of my bottle. Think it has 800 PSI still left in.

don't worry about it, run the bottle under a tap to remove the old paint, and submerge it in water to see if its leaking. but really wouldn't worry to much :cool:

I know from filling hundreds of bottle at weekends that some times the nipple pin can stick, if a minuscule amount of dirt gets in and prevents it equalising and all that happens is only the whip/hose pressurises although the fill rig guage shows the bottle as been full. All I can suggest is either take it to your local shop to take a look or if you know how, empty your bottle and remove the nipple and inspect your self. It may just be the tiny oring on the nipple pin is damaged or needs a clean.

I dont trust myself to have a look at it. Would it be to a dive shop or just a paintball store because I know planet is probably the closest to me. And to be honest I really don't want to use it to get the air out because I dont want to get blown up.

:) It's currently wrapped in my bounce vest, pants and playing top in a drawer just in case it does decide to blow up not like its going to stop it from destroying my room but I shown some iniative :D

I read somewhere the guy doing the dive had a broken jaw and the chap it then flew off and hit had a shattered ankle.
