Probably in the wrong section but here goes.

Is it possible to make a "normal" marker into a macroless marker?

by this i mean for example, could i take an Etek and change the reg and make a couple of mods so it works without the macroline? like a Luxe?

just curious really.

thanks in advance.

If you had lots of time specialized equipment a major in engineering i am sure it could be dun. But saying that marker like the luxe have been built for an integrated air design with the air passages machined in to the frame and body they cleme to "eliminate possible failure points' even tho you can opted to have a macroline set up.

The thing is not only would you have to find some way of either milling or installing/modifying an 'air passage' but you would have to total re-design the internals to suite the demands and operating criteria of the new set up.

Now this is the point where someone who is much smarter swoop's in give's you a right answer and the information that i provided makes me look like a bell e*d. ( what ! we all know it's going to happen ) :p
