I will give ulrich von klinkerhofffen his due though, he is alarmingly efficient at his job and I suppose, all things said, and on the balance of evidence, he does actually do a good job in terms of administrative infrastructure.

It's just that........well, it's just that he's such an unbelievable prrrick ....... however, 99% of the time you can't really fault his work.
You can however sometimes criticise the way in which he interfaces with customers because on many occasion he has forgotten those people he is talking to are his customers, or his employers' customers anyway.

I know the MS guys have taken him to one side and had a word in his lug-hole advising him that his jackboot diplomacy needs softening but I think he forgets sometimes.

Maybe the MS guys just need to take a time-out sometimes and just think through what they are doing but they won't get this reminder unless you guys rear up now and again and let them know you are pis$sed off and I suppose this site is the best place for that.

The sooner they see things as an entertainment business, there to serve customers, instead of charading as an 'all powerful sports federation', the better the quality of events will be. The whole, 'professional sports event' feel will then come naturally, NPPL/PP nailed it. Keeping people in place from the 'Stalin School of PR', aint going to help that transition imo.

Regarding NK - I don't think the punishment fits the crime, given the fact that Dave took the time to ensure that the 'mistake' was corrected, paid for any damages and the hotel staff were left happy with the final situation (from what we hear, a very clean room indeed). On top of this, other teams made a mess but were not singled out - so there appears to have been a rushed decision made, based on less than all the facts.

I have only had one dealing with ulric in the past when we needed a score amened at London in 06 and he dealt with it with a stern way which looking back might of been what was needed because i bet you that a lot of teams players are in his face all day so he needs to see things in black and white, with no grey areas.


This year he has been nothing but helpful with us because we are a new team to the MS and taking the step into Div1, he has come and found us at each event to make sure we are OK and to answer any matters with have a problem with,

So the word in the ear must have worked pete,


But i really disagree with letting div1 teams ref for points i now know what Freddie was on about last year really sucks.

I just wonder howcome people only care about stuff in this sport when it concerns them directly ? No offence Markie, don´t get me wrong here - but now that you do play in div. 1 then you suddenly get my point.... And agree !

Anyway... That was a threadjack.... Just happy someone finally applauded my incredible intelligence and common sense hehe !

no disrespect guys but how often do we see threads like this,where you guys have legite complaints about the ms but do you as customers do anything about it no,so until you do suck it up because there will be more to come.if it was a new car or tv you would be at the dealership kicking off but because it,s the ms you sit there and take it ,glad i don,t play it sounds a rip off
